Coaching

No prior experience is necessary to join the club. If you have never shot before you are more than welcome to come down for a taster session to see what you think. Taster sessions cost £2 and are a great way to get a feel for target shooting. You will be coached one-to-one throughout the session.

If you decide to join up then we will provide you with all of the equipment necessary to start shooting. This will include a rifle, shooting jacket, sling, glove, ear defenders and one free box of ammunition. The only additional cost after joining is ammunition. One box will typically last 2-3 weeks depending on how often you want to shoot.

We use a 10 stage coaching sheet to teach you how to shoot in a simple to follow manner. Each stage focuses on a specific aspect of shooting which will be explained to you by your coach.
